Most likely because she has had more time on the pond to prove that she has star power. Now that the list came out, new rumors are already swirling that she is quitting American Idol — the reality TV show that helped her make a comeback. Was the magazine wrong to name her the most powerful celebrity?

The last four competitors on American Idol 2012 took to the stage on the May 10th results show singing the song “California Dreamin’” by the Mamas and Papas. Harmonizing beautifully, it was clear that each one of the young singers deserved to be there. But the outcome of the reality television competition was that one of them was about to be sent home after America voted after seeing them perform on the May 9th show.

The elimination of the 7th contestant took the competitive field down to the final six. Who is the hottest male singer on American Idol 2012? If you ask celebrity judge Jennifer Lopez chances are she won’t say the predictable name Colton Dixon. The object of her affections lately seems to be singer Phillip Phillips. Why? Because when the shy boy gets his groove on, he’s like sex on a stick (to quote Maksim Chmerkovskiy — a pro dancer known for being hot on the reality show Dancing With The Stars). Maks refers to himself that way and gets away with it because he’s hot; Phil really ought to think of himself in equally high regard because as older women like J-Lo recognize, he really is delicious.
