Kim Kardashian might have made a huge mistake, getting knocked up by Kanye West — no matter how much money he makes. If you ask momager Kris Jenner, Kanye West is just no good for her little ray of income — we mean sunshine. First, it was all about how Kanye appeared not to help six-month-preggo Kim out of the car in Paris, where the celebrity couple was rekindling their romance. Now it’s because Kanye is going all psycho on the paparazzi that makes the star celeb Kardashians all their money. Now, Hollywood insiders are wondering if Kimye dating and having a baby is actually going to harm the Kardashian’s family business — creating more harm to Kim K’s reputation than any huge cash influx from marrying someone like the temperamental music artist could bring.
But Kim is stepping in to defend her beau. TMZ reported that Kim thinks it’s a-okay for the rapper and co-founder of the Dr. Donda West Foundation (helping kids stay in school) to go a little nuts on the paparazzi who follow the star celebs around.
It seems that the other Kardashians are a little perturbed that Kim’s current relationship with Kanye may be hurting business. After all the Kardashians have built their empire on the backs of paparazzi, photogs, rumor mills, and the like. Kanye, on the other hand, has always stayed pretty low-key about his personal business.
The Huffington Post has reported that Kim told a UK magazine, Fabulous, in an interview that, while she’s been more of a recluse since she became pregnant, she’s still more open than her star celeb boyfriend and doesn’t mind all the attention, noting they live “different lives.” Indeed. And we have to wonder if such different lives can even co-exist together.
We’re not the only ones.
Radar Online reports that an insider has concerns about the celebrity couple even making it until the baby is born. According to the friend and insider, “The only way they have a future is if Kim continues to do whatever he says.”
The insider goes on to note that Kanye West will fly all around the world to meet for business, but not to see his preggo wife, and says that he treats Kardashian, who supports charities like the Dream Foundation and the Salvation Army, more like a personal assistant than a wife or lover.
Can this green celebrity couple make it? Or is Kim’s history with men about to rear its ugly head again? Let’s hope not. We’ve had enough of the on-again off-again nonsense in the celebrity world.
I guess that’s why their hit reality television show has been so aptly named “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” — because they are always struggling through so much drama and crisis that it is hard to catch our writers breath when following and reporting news about them. Imagine how absolutely tiring — and boring — at times it must be to be them.
Truth be told, we here at GCN wish that celebrity baby all the best.
